Modification of an addon domain is done when the domain was permitted to pull files from the wrong folder. Below are the steps to modify;
Log in to Cpanel
Double Click on addon domain in the domain section
Search the domain- click go
A small object tool like a pencil will appear . Click on it and a document root will appear. Type the changes you want and it will start updating it. Once the update is complete click OK to save.
